40 Days of Believing God – Day 15

Paul wrote in Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

When you placed your faith in Jesus, your sin nature was crucified. The old you died. Your spirit was made alive and the Spirit of Jesus now lives in you.

You still live in a physical body, but you now live by faith in Jesus…who lives in you. You now live your life by believing Jesus. The more you believe Him, the more you become like Him. Believing Him and becoming more like Him is His will for you.

So if Jesus is walking around in your body…who does He want to serve? Who does He want to love? Who does He want to encourage?

Is it your spouse? What communicates love to your spouse? Kind words? Gifts? Spending time together? Sharing your heart? Sex?

How does Jesus want to love your children through you? What do they need to hear you say or do?

Who do you know that’s barely hanging on and in desperate need of a kind, encouraging word?

Who needs you to let Jesus live through you today?
