It wasn’t long ago, maybe a couple of months, possibly a few years. Could be longer. You didn’t see how you were going to make it.
You were behind on payments.
The diagnosis was grim.
The loss was more than you thought you could handle.
The relationship seemed beyond repair.
Somehow you made it though. What didn’t seem possible…was. Thinking back, there’s really no explanation. How did you make it?
God came through, didn’t He? Oh, maybe not the way you thought He would or when you wanted him to, but He came through.
Today, you’re facing another impossible situation. You don’t see any way out.
Don’t worry. God does.
Don’t quit. Keep going. Keep trusting. He’s doing something.
It won’t be long before you’re looking back on this time, wondering how you made it through. And then you’ll remember…God came through. Again. Just like He always does.
“The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.” Hebrews 11:1-2 (The Message)
