Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, all who live in it.”

Colossians 1:16 says, “…all things were created by Him and for Him.”

I don’t know about you, but this world is quite a distraction for me. And I’m not just talking about sin. Even good things can distract me.

I can very easily forget that none of this, I mean none of it is about me. I never have been and never will be the point. What I want will always be subordinate to what God wants.

I wonder how much more peace and joy I’d experience if I simply remembered “the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world”…and Gregg who lives in it.
